The reason I started the “Support Your Local Food Bank” Facebook page is… I don’t feel we will ever cure cancer, high blood pressure, HIV or other diseases as long as people make money off the medications. But we can cure hunger.
If we look at the numbers I sent to WHR, by banding together we all can do a lot on our own as “people” to ensure no one goes to bed hungry.
What are we asking for? Only 10 dollars a month. This is not much considering the amount of food the food bank can get.

Thanks WHR for spreading the word. It’s time for school to be out. It’s frightening to think so many kids in our country only get enough food when school is in session, because of the meal programs. Your dollar gets a food bank 20 pounds of food. Work it out for yourself… it’s crazy NOT to help.
In today’s world, your situation can change in the blink of an eye through no fault of your own. What goes around, comes around. Helping others, helps EVERYONE.
