Hello Everyone!

I am an undergraduate of California Polytechnic University who was hired to write database code and build early computer servers. First by local firms around Cal Poly, then I was hired by a major electronics manufacturer in my third year of college always looking forward and looking back only on valuable lessons learned!

It seems long ago in 1997 when I first watched Stargate SG-1 on Showtime. After the original movie release of Stargate, I was hooked immediately by the ongoing adventures of Dr. Jackson and Col. O’Neill as they explored our galaxy to find the secrets of ancient Egypt and beyond. Unfortunately, my career kept me overseas much of the time! SG-1 was often impossible to find overseas as it had not yet "made it" there.

Not too long after return from overseas, I was nearly killed in an automobile accident and hospitalized with serious injuries that left me immobile for a long period of time. It was during my prolonged convalescence and recovery that I rediscovered the wonder of Stargate SG-1! Fortunately, I had purchased those DVD’s that were available and watched from the beginning! Like many I wondered if the series plot lines would ever be completed?

The good news? By this time the SyFy (SciFi) Channel had picked up the Stargate SG-1 franchise and every Friday night became SG-1 night! I always wondered what Richard Dean Anderson and the producers meant by “Double Secret Productions”. Well we all soon found out when SG-1 was joined on Friday nights by Stargate Atlantis. For years I was in Stargate heaven!

Then came late August 2006 when SyFy announced that SG-1 was to be cancelled! I remember well that I was on an extended away from home business trip and missed the news of cancellation. When I returned around Thanksgiving of that year, I went to Gateworld and simply could not believe what I read! I immediately joined MGM’s DaveTV Stargate Community site and began to think about how best to support MGM. I supported several web sites and did quiet work helping fans express their support of MGM and the Stargate franchise.

All the while, I and a few friends who were seeking to “do something” special that would support the franchise, but also be more news worthy, like providing extended coverage of Stargate and other science fiction conventions. The concept persisted and a small dedicated group began to invest over one year of time to formulate the WormholeRiders!

What you know now as the WormholeRiders News News Agency was created in 2009 and has exceeded the new team’s expectations. We have only reported on many conventions and the response has been outstanding! All this with our sincere thanks to the fans! Our plan is simple; to continue to give back to the community with detailed 'Live at the Convention' and extensive series franchise reporting!

Lastly, our new team of professionals will be reporting on between 12-15 conventions in 2010 with multiple reporters at every event. We thank everyone for their support and hope you enjoy ‘Riding the Wormhole’ with us!

I say I get to name three! Adria, Col. Carter, Vala. Morena Baccarin makes me … well… every time! LOL! She was a great villain so I cannot wait to see her as the bad girl in “V” in 2010! Claudia Black because she brought new life to SG-1 with her fantastic acting. Amanda Tapping because she is so talented and grew into her character so well over the 13 years of Stargate!

Video games, video editing, computers, servers, security, skiing, bowling, tennis, horseback riding, swimming, cooking. And I almost forgot…. Watching Stargate SG-1, SGA, SGU, Sanctuary, Farscape, Star Trek, Firefly, Forbidden Planet (over and over) LOL!!!

An impossible question! Different ones for different situations. Some are playing right now in my head! I think I'll do "Decode" now! LOL!

9. If you could have a sidekick, who would it be?

Already have one… Cat named Adria! But the real Adria (Morena Baccarin) would be nicer! LOL!

Sausage and eggs for breakfast, EVERY DAY!

“COTG”, "But for the Grace Of God", "1969", 2010", "2001", “Citizen Joe”, "Fallen", “Lost City”, "Moebius", “Avalon” “Origin” “Beachhead”, “Dominion” to name just a few.. Heck, they are all my favs!

12b. Favorite Stargate SGA Episodes:

"Before I Sleep"This episode wraps the storyline back to SG-1, finding of Atlantis, Dr. Janus’ Time Machine also used in “Moebius” and also fav SGA "Before I Sleep", “Lost Tribe” and “First Contact“ based on Janus!

12c. Favorite Stargate Universe Episodes:

Every single episode aired so far. But especially the three part pilot “Air”, “Darkness”, “Light”, “Time”, “Justice”! Cannot wait for the second half of season 1!

12d. Favorite Fringe Episodes:

Every single episode of season one! The pilot and “Grey Matters”, “There’s More Than One of Everything” I am still catching up on season two. Moemetum Deferred”! I thank Nadine aka NaddyCat for recruiting me to see the Fringe “Gate”!

Every single episode of the new series and the original 1980’s min-series version. Love Anna Adria Inara Morena … Baccarin!

12f. Favorite Sanctuary Episodes:

I have to admit that I returned to love Sanctuary only when season two aired. Have caught up on season one. Was an original webisode watcher, but got turned off when I experienced trouble with viewing and downloading.

12g. Favorite Caprica Episodes:

The pilot ROCKS! I waited 30 years for Battlestar to return and always loved Glen A. Larson. Now we finally get to see the back story on how it all got started. Bad Robot Productions and SyFy are doing a fantastic job and service to the fandom with Caprica!

13. What was your sci-fi gateway?:

MGM Movies “Forbidden Planet” and “Stargate” followed by “The Invaders”, “Star Trek (original series and movies)”, “Battlestar Galactica” (both versions), “Star Trek – TNG”, “Star Trek- Voyager”, “Star Trek – Enterprise”. Need I say more?

14. What's under your bed?

An extra computer server, my notebook when not in use, and oh by the way; guarding these items is a little tigress named Adria pictured above! Watch out! Adria has very sharp claws!

16. What is your dream job?

I am doing it now, providing fan support and their perspective at science fiction conventions and series franchises on WormholeRiders: A web site safe for families and safe from on-line hackers and from piracy by protecting and supporting the franchises we report on. Now if I can only get paid doing this job!

H.G. Wells in The science fiction classic "The Time Machine"!

To continue provide the most extensive detailed reporting from conventions that we will cover with up to date news for our followers. To become one of the best “Live from the Convention” and series franchise news reporting webs sites! Critically, to continue to expand our work with our strategic allies to support the fandom’s.

Of course there's always the dream that I will get a chance to meet Morena Baccarin in person and then be lucky enough to have a cup of coffee, lunch and or dinner with her!
