Hey All!
I’m Vala_the_Great. As I’m a really private person it took Mr WHR a while to convince me to come over and become a reporter! I guess the flattery worked as here I am! :)
I have been accused of being a sci-fi geek. My love of Sci-fi started when I saw Star Wars a New Hope the first time on my 4th Birthday, I remember being quite obsessive with Star Wars growing up, wanting the toys and books!
Then in 1985 when I was 6years old I saw V, OMGOSH! That was it; I was hooked! I still Love V to this day, so I guess it’s a good thing that I am to be reporting on V really! ;) I am a “Gater” which is the official term for a Stargate fan! I even have a Stargate inspired Tattoo! :)
I love to write, and have been role-playing in some form or other since I was 14! My sister and me used to RP X files though we had our unique spin on it, and it crossed over into Stargate, tombraider and so many others! I found out our file the other day, wow! Madness!
I also have a brother; he’s a brilliant uncle! I have a Dog and A Rabbit, Love them both to bits.
But the most important thing in my life is My Daughter! If you see my twitter, there are not many posts that don’t feature Munchkin or Munchy! *Don’t post her real name online!* She is a mini sci-fi geek! She loves most sci-fi! She too is a Gater, she dressed up as Sam Carter one Halloween! She loves new and old V, she thinks Georgie (David Richmond-Peck) is simply Amazing! *She sent him a two-page letter, some picture she had drawn for him and a Hat! He said he loved it!* She really wants to meet Anna *Morena Baccarin* She actually said to me the other night that she wants to be Lisa’s little sister on V, She said: “that would mean Anna would be my Mother, I don’t mind being a pretend Lizard Mummy, but I don’t want to be one for real!” And upon seeing the pilot of the new V, she asked “Oh My Gosh, Mummy! Is Diana Anna’s Mummy??”

GCSE’s in Maths and English. 2 star Army Cadet. 2nd Class shot with Semi Automatic and 202. :) *Got to run around playing Stargate firing blank rounds in my combats! My childhood was sweet!* I received a Trophy for Sports when I was in Junior school *Netball/running my asthma was under control when I was 11, not the case anymore :(
3. Favorite Stargate character:
SG-1: Female: Sam Carter (My daughter adores Amanda Tapping) Vala as my screen name suggests! Claudia Black is Amazing! And Adria totally rocks! SGA Females: Dr Weir, Torri is SO nice! Teyla (My daughter LOVES Teyla) SG1/SGA: Male: Jack O’Neill, Daniel Jackson *swoon* Ronan Dex *Mega swoon* And Rodney! He is so annoying in a bizarrely endearing way!
4. Favorite Actor/Actress:
Rachel Weisz, (the inspiration for My Vrpg character’s name of Evie) Johnny Depp, Sci-fi: Morena Baccarin and Claudia Black! Joel Gretsch was fantastic in taken, 4400 and now V!!
5. Favorite Band/Performer/s:
Clayton, an unsigned band Their song “It was meant to be” is my favorite song! I also Love the Corrs, Lady Gaga is pretty cool too! When younger I loved B*Witched! I like to use dance music for cleaning and driving, anything with a crazy intense beat!
6. Hobbies:
Spending quality time with my daughter! Reading, writing! I am enjoying the Yahoo Vrpg as my creative out-let! :0)
7. Pets:
A Dog, nicknamed Woozle and A Rabbit called Flopsy (The Rabbit was named by a 6year-old).

What a bazaar question…A mash-up of Stargate/Terminator (T:TSCC)/Clayton.
9. If you could have a sidekick, who would it be?:One sidekick?? I want two! Erin and Dan Shelton!

Chinese Food!
11. What would you keep in a utility belt?:
My inhaler! My mobile phone, Chocolate and an energy drink! (And if we’re talking Stargate here I’ll take my portable DHD! Ohh and a V lazer weapon would be nice!)

If you haven’t realised yet I LOVE V! In fact my entire Family Love V! I own all the 80’s episodes on DVD! I like the Final Battle 1, 2 and 3 best! And I have seen and loved all four aired episodes of the New V! My family are very envious that I have seen the new V!

V! *V is my number one favorite above all others!* Dancing on Ice! (UK TV show) X-Factor. Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles. Meerkat Manor. Used to like the X-files when younger. Mythbusters! LA ink! *I so want a tattoo by Kat Von D!* Dark Angel! The 4400. Taken. There are way too many to mention all!
16. What is your dream job?:
To be on the new V writing staff *Giggle* OK seriously I have an amazing job right now, I’m a Mum!
17. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?:
Any suggestions?? There are plenty of places I want to visit! Canada, USA, Australia!.
18. If your life could be written by any author who would it be and what genre?:
Christopher Paolini a V/Stargate/Eragon cross over! *giggle* I don’t want much! *For the record I LOVE the Eragon books!.

Stargate the original Movie. “The Mummy” movies. Jurassic Park. All Star Wars, but prefer the originals! The Descent!
20. What are your goals/dreams/aspirations for WormholeRiders.Com?:
Hopefully it’s popularity and success will continue to grow at the current rapid rate! On a personal level within WHR, I just hope that my contributions are enjoyed/well received! *I’m new to all this! So bare with me!
