Education/Awards/Etc.: Master’s in Adult Ed., Bachelor of Music, and A.A.S. in Computer Technology. Clearly, I couldn’t make up my mind….

3. Favorite Stargate character:

Schrödinger, Daniel Jackson, Jack O’Neill, Samantha Carter, Teal’c, Skaara, Lya.

4. Favorite Actor/Actress:

Of course I LOVE all our Stargate, Star Trek, Chuck, V, Human Target, and BSG actors/actresses; plus I will watch anything with Katherine Hepburn or Emma Thompson in it.

5. Favorite Band/Performer/s:

Muse, Linkin Park, Joni Mitchell, The Fray, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Santana, Yo-Yo Ma, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Celia Cruz, Cirque de Soleil, and oh, so many others.

6. Hobbies:

Besides watching my favorite sci-fi TV shows and movies, I probably spend most of my spare time reading (sci-fi of course, but also mysteries, historical fiction, classic literature, the occasional western, and biographies). I am learning how to make stained glass, which is really cool but cutting glass is not as easy as it looks. :-\ Other things I like to do: camping, hiking, photography, road trips, music, trying new things, meeting new people, visiting new places.

7. Pets:

Xena Warrior Dog, my fabulous 15-year-old German shepherd mix.

8. What's your theme song?:

Supermassive Black Hole.

9. If you could have a sidekick, who would it be?: Johnny Five (from the movie Short Circuit).

10. Favorite food:

Churros and hot chocolate at Disneyland!

11. What would you keep in a utility belt?:

Light saber, smartphone, backup battery pack with universal adaptor, Leatherman utility knife, flash drive, protein bar, grappling hooks, high strength cord and breath mints.

12. Favorite Stargate SG-1 Episodes:

Season 1, the season that started it all and made me a fan for life.

13. What was your sci-fi gateway?:

The original Star Trek series and 50’s sci-fi movies.

14. What's under your bed?:

My dancing shoes—multiple styles and types, of course. A girl can never have too many shoes.

15. Favorite TV show (not SciFi):

Firefly, Chuck, Sanctuary, Battlestar Galactica, Human Target, V, Star Trek (all of them!), Monk, Psych, Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles, MacGyver, Alien Nation. I’m trying to get into Caprica but it hasn’t quite pulled me in yet.

16. What is your dream job?:

Explorer/archaeologist.

17. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?:

That’s a hard one, because I haven’t traveled much outside the U.S. and I have a curious mind and adventurous spirit. Is there a place where they have warm, clean beaches, nearby mountain trails with little waterfalls, ancient ruins to explore, fun dance clubs, good movie theatres, and a well-stocked bookstore? Oh, and full access to all my favorite TV channels, natch.

18. If your life could be written by any author who would it be and what genre?:

Either C.J. Cherryh sci-fi or Anne McCaffrey fantasy. Some combination of both might be interesting. Ooh! Maybe a little Isabel Allende thrown in. Have you read her magical-realism stories for teens?

19. Favorite movies:

Stargate, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Serenity, The Princess Bride, The Day the Earth Stood Still (the original), WALL-E, Short Circuit, the first two Mummy movies with Brendan Fraser, Desk Set, Demolition Man, Sense and Sensibility, The Fifth Element, Galaxy Quest, Enemy Mine, Logan’s Run, Horror at Party Beach, Queen of the Damned, When Worlds Collide, and—I admit it—I am a closet fan of all things Twilight.

20. What are your goals/dreams/aspirations for WormholeRiders.Com?:

To continue giving sci-fi fans great coverage of all our favorite TV series and convention experiences and—who knows?—maybe down the road some movie reviews, sneak peeks, and (dare we hope?) more Red Carpets like WHR did for Avatar!
